| This costume was designed by me to be an original, Steampunk version of the classic White Rabbit Character. Having always been a fan of Alice in Wonderland, I leap at the opportunity to make new character designs based on it! This White Rabbit costume was for a Steampunk-themed event. I used my favorite fabric designer, Robert Kauffman's white clocks fabric as an accent fabric throughout the costume.
To keep as sophisticated an air as possible, I also used a beautiful black stretch suiting fabric with a great pin-striped effect on it. The vest was made a purposefully lop-sided to promote the topsy-turviness of Wonderland. The back of the vest was also embroidered with a dysfunctional clock, including move-able silver hands!
